How to Add a New Mail Account to Outlook Express -
- Open Outlook Express
- Click on the "Tools" menu
- Click on the "Accounts" menu
- Click on "Add", then click on mail
- Type in your name and click "Next"
- Check "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use"
- Enter your username@arkd.net in the "email address" field and then click next.
- Leave the line "My incoming mail server is a POP3 server" alone. This is the default
setting.
- The Incoming mail server is: pop3.arkd.net
- The Outgoing mail server is: smtp.arkd.net
- Click Next
- In the "Account name" field enter your username
- In the "Password" field enter your password Click "Next"
- Click "Finish"
- Within the "Internet Accounts" window double click on "pop3.arkd.net"
- In the new window that opens up, change "pop3.arkd.net" to a name you wish to refer to
the email account by, such as Dean's email or Mom's email.
- Click "OK"
- Click "Close"
